1.0″ RD-1EP Extended Packing Dummy Valve
Extended Packing Dummy valves are used as a last resort to seal a side pocket mandrel that has scared seal bores. The Extended Packing Dummy Valve is designed with seals that cover the entire seal surface of the pocket in the mandrel. If there is any integrity in a portion of the sidepocket mandrels seal bore, the Extended Packing Dummy Valve is designed to find that area, create a seal which prevents the need to pull tubing and workover the well.
